Clear backpacks sounds like something Betsy DeVos would dream up - i.g. has zero to do with reality, but viewed by public as a change. WISE up public, they lie to you!
Clear backpacks are not the answer. Anyone can sneak a knife into school by putting it into a folder or a gun by hiding it in their pants. Don’t violate our privacy and give us real security. That’s what will help.

Why are we so willing to discuss limits to kids 1st amendment freedom of expression rights but unwilling to discuss any restrictions at all to gun availability? Multiple ways to start addressing safety sure, no doubt, but the sheer number of impositions on anyone but gun owners?
