    These days, I love a contrary take. I feel like we can be skeptical of people's choices and also not be shitty *about* people. I am just constantly repeating "everyone has a lane" these days. (And I don't know if this is Bono's lane but also Bono didn't put himself in it....)

    If you dunk on Bono I will unfollow, defriend & never speak to you again. I worked for him for years & he is better at advocacy & politics than most people on this stupid bird app; also he sings better. Grab a seat, listen to War, & pipe down. Jaysus, on feckin St Pat’s, even.

    If Title 42 can have broad carveouts that have nothing to do with the conditions in which migrants would be held, what does that say about the "public health" rationale that is, let's not forget, supposed to be the only reason the US can expel asylum-seekers without interview?

    Friday night exhale. CDC order just posted to end Title 42 for all unaccompanied kids seeking safety at our borders. This came way too late, about half an hour before an injunction was slated to take effect to allow all kids seeking safety alone at our borders to be expelled. /1

    End Title 42 for everyone. Per usual, this is a long overdue and necessary first step. And now they need to end the policy all together.

    JUST IN — The Biden administration is ending the Trump-era Title 42 border deportation policy *as it pertains to unaccompanied children* in response to a court ruling​ that could've forced officials to expel those minors.

    Every year in the State of the Union address, the President should pick a state to be that year’s State of the Union. One of the perks in an election year would be having the first primary/caucus. All States and territories must be chosen before anyone gets awarded twice.

    I truly truly love the early caucuses so so much (Iowa especially!!). But we do sometimes act like the Founding Fathers had to do an Iowa caucus when they’ve only been around since 1972. Change that supports more diversity and inclusion is right for the Party.
