    History knows too little of the 6888th Battalion – the only all-black, all-female battalion to serve overseas during World War II. This week, I introduced legislation advocating for Congressional Gold Medals for these brave women.

    While is a day to celebrate women worldwide, we cannot turn a blind eye to the millions of women who are being persecuted around the globe for demanding equal rights as simple as the right to drive a car. Saudi Arabia must release these women.

    In 2014, we passed the ABLE Act, making it possible for Americans with disabilities to open tax-free savings accounts. Today’s bill would expand the eligibility of the program and increase the ability of these folks to save for their future.
