I think the issue is not children necessarily dieing because of Covid but the spread of the virus moving within the schools eventually to people who are more vulnerable.
It is time to open schools while shielding anyone vulnerable. Also kids are not immune to Covid. They can still have symptoms and need to be hospitalized. Maybe the death rate is next to none but who knows the long term effects it can have on the body.
