Oh so you’re a fan of walls as well? Explain to me why building walls between ppl works

It is safe to say Talib has a very small understanding of history and is completely ignorant regarding the topic of the Cold War. His use of Wikipedia articles displays perfectly his extreme lack of knowledge of why the Berlin Wall was erected.
-
Why do you side with racists who want Trump to build a wall? Explain yourself.pic.twitter.com/yjt7HTx26P
-
so in order to not side with racists we have to pretend nazi's ran the DDR in 1961? eh, pass....
-
Nope. You could literally call out racists the racists you’ve volunteered to help challenge me. You’re refusing to because it’s not their racism you take issue with. That makes you racist.
-
Talib I prefer if you answer my response rather than race bait. It’s an economic issue. And if you would like to make it a race issue I’d like to point out that African-Americans are the most economically disenfranchised by Illegal immigration.
-
I don’t give a fuck what you would prefer because I’m not here to please you and I don’t work for you. Stop attempting to erase the black experience because hearing about it makes YOU uncomfortable.

This is effing hilarious! The communist government built the wall to stop Germans escaping to the capitalist west and the fact young folks don’t know that shows how bad the education system has become.
-
It takes somebody 5 seconds to Google it I said the same thing on Talib Kweli original post

He did Google it, and posted a screenshot from Wikipedia. He is simply not very smart. He read the page, understood it as "something something Germany something something Berlin Wall something something Nazis" and now he just keeps parroting that ad nauseum.

I remember the 1980’s when every year a caravan of thousands of Western Europeans would march to try to break into East Germany and seek asylum.
-
I was one of them. Trying to flee from Hamburg to Berlin by train in 1989. For some reason the driver missed east-Berlin and stopped in Nazi occupied west-Berlin.

Has anyone bothered telling him yet?
-
According to other fellow, he’s been doubling down all night. Of course people have corrected him—it’s Twitter. But again, it being Twitter, he assumes that everyone who disagrees with him does so MERELY because they are on some other side, so he won’t admit being wrong.
-
He's picked his Alamo, I guess.
-
The Alamo was heroic. He picked a stupid hill to die on.
-
Lol. Yeah, i thought about that immediately, too. More like he invaded his Russia.

WELL ACKSHUALLY, defending something as indefensible as the Alamo wasn’t such a hot idea, which is why Sam Houston ordered the defenders to evacuate. He wasn’t counting on them to delay Santa Ana.
-
Not to knock the defenders, who were brave as hell, but as far as a contribution to the war effort goes, it wasn’t Thermopylae.
