I can't stress how completely disappointing this is, and mainly, how much I feel like the Iron Range is just a pawn of both parties over the last two weeks.

This isn't about the media coverage in the end. My job is to inform the people of the Iron Range. Ask questions. Get answers. Analyze said answers into the actual story. We cancelled coverage of other stories today. We're not serving our area in any meaningful way today now.

And I'll say it again: This is Trump campaign and Biden campaign. We were shut out of a Trump steel forum in Duluth in 2018. Blindsided by the Range mayors last week. Now this.

Not going to pull back any criticism of the Biden campaign knowing very limited local media is in there. Some were traveling from the Cities with no clue what access was like. Small outlets like us moved an entire day around.

A livestream is nice (and was mentioned as a possibility this morning with the pool reports), but this is a completely frustrating event. Even if an outdoor presser was official, we have zero time to get there now and readjust plans a third time.
