No Palestinian concessions? You have to situate their actions within the history of the conflict. Until 1988 they opposed the very existence of Israel. Then in '88 and again in '93 they recognized Israel's right to exist. They got little in exchange.
I suggested that Bill Clinton be the chair of the UNSCOP-2 commission and former Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben Ami and former EU top diplomat Javier Solana be his #2's. My main point was that they made very fundamental concessions. Indeed, they conceded the central issue in the conflict, whether Israel has a right to exist in peace and security. Whether they got a lot or a little in exchange is secondary.
