My daughter whose watched Star Trek with me decided at a very young age she wanted to be involved in space, she’s now at UCL University College London studying physics, your role in Voyager played a major part in forming her views, a huge thank you from me to you.

I am not a "space psychologist". but have studied the "sacrifices" you speak of. Astronauts report feeling calmed by the immensity of space like some transformation of their psyche. NASA says , as of yet, "there has never been a psychological emergency". I'd be Woody Allen.

I urge folks to go to the Air & Space Museum at the Smithsonian as well. It's incredible and Star Trek is represented.
