but how many of them will count? Texas GOP state government has already demonstrated their desire to restrict voting rights in dem leaning districts. They can discard ballots and count on a trump appointed court to back them.

So are they counting the votes, or just the ballots?

The number of submitted votes may be counted, but the actual contents of each vote will not be counted until after the polls close on Nov 3rd. Most states do it that way.
