Let me get this straight. Alfie Evans is breathing on his own, requires no life support, is no longer being treated by the hospital, has Italian citizenship, and has been offered care in Rome. But the UK judge is forbidding him from going. Why?

If there was a difference of opinion in treatment, I would understand. But there’s not. The hospital isn’t even treating him. They are withholding treatment to make sure he dies. Let him go.

For what it’s worth, my own moderate opinion is that the Papal States should invade the UK, return Alfie to his parents, kidnap and baptize the royal baby, and install him as the new Catholic monarch. But I’m new.
