    💰Just a reminder that opposing a $15min wage means you think $31k/year* is too much for someone lucky enough to string together full time employment. *Before taxes, working 52-weeks a year, with no time off or unpaid sick days.

    Tech affordances are always multiple, often surprising, and inextricable from cultural norms & values. Great piece on + body image by , to which I contributed, that now is banned from Facebook because, Monopoly Big Tech.

    An unintended consequence of the Facebook news ban could be that misinformation increases, as legitimate news sources are restricted while questionable or ‘fake news’ sources slip through Case in point: Rebel News

    It happened: Facebook just went off the deep end in Australia. They are blocking *all* news content to Australians, and *no* Australian media can post news. This is what showdowns between states and platforms look like. It's deplatforming at scale.
