I love theme park tie in material but I'd love if it was backed up by an announcement of non-gift-shopping additions to the land

I thought this was clear but what I'm saying is that they cut a lot elements of the land in development to save money (additional rides, animatronics, shows, dining space) and now have an underperforming area with a massive footprint and only a couple popular activities

This has nothing to do with covid, in fact I imagine if they had known they'd be closing one of their two US resorts indefinitely they wouldn't have bothered investing in content to promote it

Also the 2 popular activities aren't the 2 rides, they're one ride and the cantina which they decided in cost-cutting to downsize from a large dinner theater experience to a bar which only holds about 200 guests, now downsized to about 100 in Florida due to social distancing

Star Wars is only Galaxy’s Edge and Baby Yoda now. Just the things that make general audiences say “oh that’s cool”
-
also the pre special edition VHS tapes of the OT

As always, Disney is an expert at getting that bag... even at your own risk.
