Biden says he's directing White House counsel and Gender Policy Council to respond to abortion decision to see what steps the federal govt can take "to ensure that women in Texas have access to safe and legal abortions as protected by Roe."
And unless every one of us gets in the face of all of our elected officials it won’t matter.
We should have been doing that 12 yrs ago.
The fathers should have to bear all the cost of births and be forced to take the child if the mother has an unplanned pregnancy.
That would matter if the majority actually cared!
Do you know what I think the anti choice coterie on SCOTUS is doing? They are letting the Texas law stand until they rule on the MS law that allows abortions up to 15 weeks. They will support that law, and then come out looking like moderates.
2/ In the meantime, the Texasaliban will make women's lives as miserable as possible They will be ruling on the MS law in time for the 2022 election.
