Today is . It's simply wrong that top CEOs are paid more in the first three days of 2019 than an average worker earns in a year. It shows our economic system is rigged in favour of the privileged few.

It doesn’t have to be like this. Labour will: -bring our rail services back into public ownership - cap fares to end the rail rip-off - invest to fix problems in our rail network - put passengers before profit

As a firefighter, it is my to inform you that after nearly 9 years of Tory austerity, the fire service has been decimated. 12,000 Firefighters axed, stations closed and fire engines scrapped. The result? Response times and fire deaths are up. You are now less safe.

Rail fares have increased by 36% since 2010 as train companies make huge profits and pay hundreds of millions to shareholders. Let's bring our railways into public ownership so they work for the many, not the few.

Complete farce When the ‘Earl of Downton Abbey’ has a greater chance of getting into Parliament than any one of the millions of working people of this country, you know our political system is simply not fit for purpose.
