Commercial imagery is getting better and better. People are going to start looking at this imagery and making their own assessments about military activity instead of getting a filtered assessment from their elected officials. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
As more and more intel moves into the open source, like satellite imagery, it will be interesting to see whose interpretation becomes the dominant narrative vs which provides the most nuance.https://www.38north.org/2020/01/sanumdong012820/ …
