I offer my heartfelt condolences to Representative McKean’s family, loved ones, and the many who considered him a friend. Representative McKean was a dedicated public servant whose service to Colorado will be remembered for generations to come.

From Fairplay to Salida, Pagosa Springs to Durango, voters across Colorado show up because they care about their communities. I grew up working class in rural Colorado. That's why I believe every eligible voter should have access to the ballot box, no matter their zip code!

The violent attack against Paul Pelosi is abhorrent. My prayers are with the entire Pelosi family. The escalating violent rhetoric used by extreme politicians and pundits must stop.

I’m waiting for the police briefing, but i want to be clear: when you convince people that politicians are rigging elections, drink babies blood, etc, you will get violence. This must be rejected. This is why the Jan 6th committee is so important.

This year, I led the first-in-the-nation law on insider threats. It makes it a felony to compromise voting equipment and increases physical security requirements for Colorado voting equipment!

Entrepreneurship can be a journey full of challenges, but the cost of starting a business shouldn’t be one of them. As Secretary of State, I’ve worked to bring down the cost of starting a business to just $1.

Everyone should have a voice in our elections. That’s why I worked to: Expand Automatic Voter Registration Increase access to multilingual ballots Guarantee voting access on public colleges and tribal lands

“Democracy is literally on the ballot,” says Colorado secy. of state . “Americans— Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated— can reject this election denialism in the midterm elections and make sure this country remains a country of, for, and by the people.” #velshi

"The Sentinel stands with Griswold and others like her in calling out election deniers and those who passively or passionately distribute disinformation about election integrity in the state." Thank you for your endorsement.

Thank you to for being a great partner in protecting the right to vote. And to Stephanie Felix-Sowy and for a great discussion today. MN and CO show that accessible elections lead to high voter turnout!

It takes secretaries of state like @JenaGriswold to truly protect the right to vote. She’s on the frontlines of defending democracy in Colorado, and today we sat down with local leaders Stephanie Felix-Sowy and Jennifer Bacon to talk about protecting access to the ballot box.

Did you know that I was the first person in my family to go to a four-year college (and then onto law school)? I come from a working-class background and know firsthand that in Colorado, every voice matters.

As Secretary of State, I’ve worked to make voting more accessible for everyone. That’s why I passed Automatic Voter Registration, which has registered 350,000 eligible Coloradans!

Election disinformation has led to increased threats towards America’s election workers, who are the backbone of democracy. That's why I joined my colleagues in supporting the Federal Election Worker Protection Act. I thank & for their leadership.
