1: This isn’t how climate change works. 2: We weren’t paying trillions of dollars. You didn’t understand the Paris Agreement in June and you still don’t. 3: Climate Change is real. It is a serious threat to our children. You need people on your team who can explain this to you.

Oh, and by the way, this cold snap that Trump uses to deny basic science? It represents approximately 2% of the planet. It’s hotter than normal almost literally everywhere else.

Always amazed when people claim the opioid crisis is unrelated to overprescribing. Imagine how different things would be if we'd been pushing ibuprofen and rest for the past 20 years instead of OxyContin or Vicodin.

Another reminder that as soon as Republicans pass their massive tax cut for the wealthy and large corporations – running up a $1.4 trillion deficit – they will turn around and say we must cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

This will hurt our public school students, our public school teachers, librarians and nurses. It will result in more inequality in our country. Not good for our country, not good for Texas. It’s another reason I will vote NO on the tax bill today.
