    La Corte Suprema ha revocado las moratorias de desalojo tanto federales como estatales. Los inquilinos de NY ya no están protegidos por el congelamiento de desalojos y los casos de desalojo pueden comenzar a pasar por las cortes. Aquí hay algunas cosas que debe saber:

    - Hardship declarations are no longer valid - BUT you can’t be kicked out right away - there are legal steps before a Marshal can remove you - You may qualify for OTHER protections - Respond to any petitions & notices within 10 days Here are some programs that might help:

    The Supreme Court has now struck down both federal and state eviction moratoriums. New York tenants are no longer protected by either eviction freeze, and eviction cases can start moving through the courts. While we fight this - here are some things to know (THREAD):

    Protection from eviction in New York is much weaker after the U.S. Supreme Court blocked enforcement of a key provision of the state’s moratorium allowing tenants to stave off eviction by filling out a form called a hardship declaration.

    "The number of higher-income housing units renting for more than $1,500 grew by 17% between 2014 and 2017. The number of lower-income apartments renting for less than that declined 14% during the same time period." I'm ready to take on big real estate and reverse this trend.

    The number of lower-income affordable housing units is falling while that of higher-income units is rising.
