Buildings produce more greenhouse gasses than cars, planes, boats, and trains combined. I'm here to help reduce those emissions via efficient mechanical systems

District heating is the term used to describe a heating system that heats more than a single building or dwelling. District heating is used to supply many dwellings from a single energy source and delivers the heat to all of the apartments individually.

Check out my quick reference about specifying evaporative cooling equipment. This document is to provide a brief overview of the considerations required when selecting either open cooling towers or closed circuit fluid coolers.

MultiStack Water-cooled MagLev chiller in London, ON. These Chillers are amount the highest performing in the industry, due to the “Magnetic Levitation” of the bearing in the compressor. This also allows for oil free operation, greatly increasing life expectancy and reliability.

Hydronic systems are more efficient and more comfortable than forced air systems but they are more expensive to install.

Always lots of comments about costs around geothermal - there are solutions! 3rd party ownership, utility, innovation in tech., partnerships, innovative financing, Let's do it!

Now, this is what we're talking about! Innovating in the Geothermal Heat Pump space, to reduce costs. It's not impossible, we just have to do it. Disruption is needed

It's like, watching humans land on the moon for the first time; over and over again, nearly weekly. Though I wasn't alive to see land, I'll get to see someone do it soon, likely full HD or even in ....This is a really cool time.

Don't let them trick you into thinking, "Green Gas" is any better the regular kind; I guarantee it still burns blue.

This is a double-edged sword; on the production and distribution of the fuel, leaks are consistent, big or small. I'd also suggest that Methane leaks from piping networks are not fully accounted for - and we know that Methane is 25x more destructive than CO2 as a GHG emission.

18 Billion Litres of Natural Gas Leaked in Saskatchewan in 18 Years....is that too much? One of the primary uses for Natural Gas in Canada is for heating our built environment.

Geothermal offers a solution to this problem. Right beneath your feet, you can’t miss, it won’t run out, carbon-free at point of use, on-demand, 100%, future-proof.

The report says "GHG emissions from buildings (in Ontario) are growing faster than from every other source except transportation, mostly due to using natural gas for space heating." Wow! 66% of all primary heating systems in Ontario private dwellings are Natural Gas-fired.

Entire communities can have their heating, cooling and domestic hot water requirements met by a district/community scale geothermal system. New developments should really be considering this approach, instead of the age-old way of tapping into the gas main. What do you think?
