That's a bizarre claim given that many conservatives have lambasted the latest ACA suit. Some of us have even filed briefs in it. It's also bizarre given Kavanaugh's own votes in numerous ACA cases and on key issue in this case: Severability. 1/2

So I repeat my question: On what do you base your specific claim? You said it was based on looking at his approach to statutory interpretaion, so what cases do you have in mind? Or is it just speculation grounded in a partisan worldview? 2/2

They literally ran on a PROMISE to appoint SC judges that would overturn Roe. For many voters, that is the sole reason they could overlook ALL of Trump’s immorality to vote for him.

I don't understand the coyness that arises during judicial hearings on issues they've campaigned on for decades. Very odd.

Right on Jeffrey. He will vote to overturn Roe v Wade. Probably outlaw many forms of birth control. Back to the 1950’s

The irony is that in their various back rooms, Repubs probably don't want to see Roe go. Right now, the issue is good for firing up the base. Put the issue in play, and it will be different: Fired up Dems, some Repub women going squishy

Overturning Roe is for Republicans like a dog chasing a car. They have no idea what to do once they catch it. See also: anti-EU Tories and Brexit

Isn't it odd that
@JeffreyToobin mentions Roe twice in reply to a tweet that was only about the ACA?@jadler1969#BrettKavanaughpic.twitter.com/N1PgmD1qQL

Obtuse or just refuse to see what his point is? He also mentioned ACA twice but you're the Homer Simpson thinker.

Thanks, Marge.

Clearly you don't, and are just spreading panic. Republicans have appointed their share of Supreme Court justices and there has been a conservative majority on the Court, yet Roe still stands. Don't worry--the liberal quest to murder babies will not be abridged.
