What makes it even more remarkable is that Iceland qualified through Europe where the competition is, well, let's just say a hell of a lot better than what the US had to get through.

Hi Mr. Toobin, I am tempted to use an analogy here. Just like the US criminal justice system is broken, so is USA soccer with their pay for play system. In Iceland they have a criminal justice system that rehabilitates instead of punishes and everyone can play soccer.

Maybe is USA did a better job with immigrant children, we’d be better suited to compete in soccer on the world’s stage. So much potential talent is unrealized.
