Vulnerable Michiganders shouldn't have to worry about being taken advantage of by guardians or conservators. It's time to fix the system with bipartisan measures like those proposed by Sens. , , Ruth Johnson and Jim Runestad.

The same people who called out the Prosecutor for charging the MSU shooter with a misdemeanor rather than a felony for carrying concealed without a concealed pistol license also support eliminating his crime from the books. Some call them hypocrites, some call them "Republicans"

Momentum is building in Michigan to abolish life without parole for kids. Thank you, , , , and Rep. Curt VanderWall for leading the charge! #EndJLWOP

The Michigan Republicans are off the rails, putting cult before country. They used to be able to count on gerrymandering to make up for their terrible policies and pronouncements. Not so much now that we have more competitive districts.

New @AP poll neatly captures the paradox of budget politics. Americans say abstractly the government should cut spending, but show them the list of things it actually spends money on and they say nice, spend more on that. apnews.com/article/spendi

Now that 40 years of continuous Republican obstruction on ethics and transparency legislation has ended, we can finally have a productive conversation about enhancing our accountability and ethics laws. I look forward to pulling Michigan out of the basement by passing reforms.

Data privacy legislation to protect Amrricans using social media is a good idea but Congressional hearings on TikTok aren't revealing security issues so much as xenophobia and ignorance of how internet, wifi, or social media functions.

The Michigan Republican Party elected disgusting zealots who use Holocaust victims as props for their political points. Antisemitism and bigotry of all sorts has become central to the brand of this GOP. Michigan, we must stand together against this kind of vile politics.
