Interestingly, nothing had ONE price. Everything had TWO prices. You wouldn't know the price until you reached the checkout. They had someone at the door to explain to you that it was neither price, it was somewhere BETWEEN the prices. Prices fluctuated every hour, IIRC.pic.twitter.com/qi64z2HU3S

It had an in-store restaurant simply dubbed "Restaurant" The only seating options were couch and couch derivatives. The food was Not Good. Now, I want you to notice something... Look at the mac and cheese. Look at the pickles. The beans. Everything. They only had one brand of each product. It's like when you go to your step-dad Ken's house and all the food options are limited and weird.pic.twitter.com/q1VkOCvyI3

BACK TO: the lighting. It was Very Bad. So bad they realized they needed to put LEDs on each shelf so you could see the products. The lighting was slightly purple, which caused everything to be oddly colored, including meat and produce. It was very unappetizing.pic.twitter.com/6TG8xtmabS

Anyways, the store opened, everyone went there, gawked, bought sriracha fresh from the tree, and never returned. I went there with my family. We all placed bets on how long until Cosmo closed, mine was "around thanksgiving."pic.twitter.com/5dIjCWB8yu

The store opened in July 2015. They started selling everything at 40% off in early November 2015. The last liquidation post I can find is from December 2015. And Cosmo was no more.pic.twitter.com/rwx35SMAEn
