You'd think better public healthcare would take precedent over public schools.
People who don't have kids paying taxes to fund schools: Not socialism. People paying taxes to salt + plow snow off of roads they'll never drive on: Not socialism. People paying taxes for healthcare everyone needs at some point: Socialism. Conservatives are really stupid.

Just imagine a families discretionary income due to public programs. Do people honestly think they could afford to have kids, a car and a house if they had to pay police/fire insurance, private school, tolls for roads and health insurance? The taxes people pay for services...
