    The great fear I have, the one I am most ashamed to admit, is that I will die without realizing the greatness I believe I am capable of. And this makes me wonder if that means I am not as great as I think. Being an artist sucks, sometimes.

    Don't buy the lie that writing is some sort of elite activity, reserved for the most skilled or poetic or trained. The last thing we need are more sanitized, uninspired books. What we need are people who have stories stirring their souls & who are brave enough to write them down.
