  Truth is Ethiopia was waging wars after wars to occupy& recolonize Eritrea since early 1960es. Successive Ethiopian rulers HSelassie, Mengistu &Melles were rough&warmongers. Abiy for the first time wanted peace&accepted the Algiers Peace Agreement of 2000 unconditionally. Peace.

  Correction: Eritrea is the one who wanted peace and waited 18years for Ethiopia to abide by the Algiers agreement. Ethiopia as the darling sponsor child of the west got away with war lies and deceit. Then Abiy came shook our hand and promised to honor the agreement.
