You know the overall problem? Dems play by the rules and follow morality. Gop does anything they can to obtain and hold power, regardless of rules and morality. We have to stop bringing butter knives to gun fights. We are getting trampled.
In 2016, nine months before an election, we Republicans said that the next president should fill a Supreme Court vacancy. Today, six weeks before an election, we should hold the same position. Preserving the institution of the Senate should be paramount to any political gain.

I remember when Jeff Flake said that if Kavanaugh lied under oath then Senator Flake would not vote to confirm him. Is there actually anybody here who thinks Senator Flake thought Kavanaugh was truthful in all his answers? That would be world class gullible IMO.
