His tweet welcoming a colleague back after being shot by someone on your side is out of touch, not your ghoulish comment?

Yeah. It is. He didn’t say “Welcome back, Steve Scalise.” He said, “This warms my heart.” There’s a big difference. When you’re a senator, everything you put online matters.

I’m sorry Scalise was shot and am glad he didn’t die but the fact is he rejects gun control and also had access to the best health care the tax payers can pay for. So excuse me if I’m not all teary-eyed and inspired that he made a full recovery.

Furthermore, I don’t give a CRAP he’s playing baseball. I want to see him at work, working for the people of this country. So I f you think I’m a ghoul, stay off my feed.

This country is in serious crisis. THERE ARE KIDS LOCKED IN CAGES ON OUR BORDER. If you’re not outraged, you’re complicit. I don’t want to see a Republican senator playing baseball and another one telling us it warms his heart.

Flake seems like a good person. That’s why I told him he was out of touch, and not a sociopathic monster like a lot of his party.

I have voted/still vote (rarely) for some R's. I'd like to believe Jeff is a good guy. Loving dad/grandfather but he doesn't seem to care about other people's children & grandchildren. If he did, he would have voted differently & really stood up to Trump & GOP. Inadequate so far!

Not cant. Won't. There are some measures that would pass and they won't bring for a vote.

Bc laws wont stop all is not a reason notnto try to stop any. Newly enacted red flag laws in several states have already kept guns from ppl who should not have them.

Red flag laws are already in place in states like Florida, where they’re ignored. Enforce current law, fill gaps where needed. The vast majority of the “wish list”; banning semiauto rifles/BGC on private sales, etc. is nothing but ineffective harassment of law abiding gun owners.

Too bad getting shot & nearly dying didn’t do anything to soften his heart toward millions of kids who attend school everyday & have to worry about getting sprayed with bullets during math class.

Happy for his recovery. But... I can’t stop thinking of the immigrant children ripped from their parents being held in a former Wal-Mart with blacked-out windows. When will they get to breathe fresh air again, or run on grassy ball fields? How can Congress RELAX knowing this?

You do know Obama enforced these regulations in his term?!?
