Thanks to all who have bought It’s flanked by 2 quotes, Hemingway and Davis: ‘The world is a fine place and worth fighting for’ ‘In a racist society it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.’ Who’s with me? 👊🏽

Another less fun hypothesis is that 2019-nCoV preprints, when exposed to this garbage hellsite, are being taken out of context to promote misinformation and mass hysteria.

Even better would be if there is an inverse relationship between 2019-nCoV preprint tweets and infection prevalence, which would suggest these preprints are serving to inform and educate the public.

we know that Twitter data is a remarkably accurate tool for epidemic surveillance ()...I'm very curious to see which audiences are hyping the 2019-nCoV preprints, and if this also tracks the spread of infection

I've been seeing this kind of response to my paper from would-be critics claiming I show 20% of the racial IQ gap is genetic and claiming it supports race science (and that I am a race scientist). While this criticism is obviously in bad faith I want to address any ambiguity here

The racist fringe theory “Human biodiversity” is still linking to “Human genetic variation” on Wikipedia without explanation or qualification, and it will probably be kept this way indefinitely because some Wikipedians are successfully fighting for it.

So, tomorrow I'm going to do a thing. Following advice from people like , I've organized a reading group on science and race with the Dept of Religious Studies. The aim is to communicate our respective ideas better. In light of recent events, let's hope it works.

Nothing says "Charles Murray wrote an op-ed about genetics in the Wall Street Journal" like the direction of that double helix lololol

"Measures of IQ...are...contaminated by environmental effects before birth and during infancy. Polygenic scores for IQ are free of that contamination." Yeah, definitely never seen a polygenic score contaminated by environmental effects before. I foresee no problems whatsoever.

Considering Charles Murray's new book comes out tomorrow it's good timing that this little side-project I took on (in the middle of my comprehsensive exams!) just came out.
