It was great to chat with Paul Levinson about the most fascinating, and original, of Popper’s students, W.W. Bartley; how pancritical rationalism was an improvement upon critical rationalism, and the extraordinary dispute between the two men

Entertaining, broad ranging and deep podcast conversation. A nice way to learn some critical rationalist philosophy - specifically about Popper’s approach - from some well informed experts in it.

It was a pleasure to talk with @ElyseHargreaves about The Open Society and Its Enemies, the fall of Athens, the betrayal of Socrates by Plato, the nature of totalitarianism, and the dangers of trying to make people happy popperian-podcast.libsyn.com/the-popperian-

It's well worth knowing what #KarlPopper was getting at in his famous #ParadoxOfTolerance – an idea he aired in a footnote (!) to Chapter 7 of his "Open Society". The paradox is frequently misapplied and interpreted to apply far more generally than Popper intended. Great podcast.

It is always great to talk with James Kierstead @Kleisthenes2 – this time with a deep, archival look into Popper’s paradox of tolerance; what Popper actually said, what he meant and the challenges still before us popperian-podcast.libsyn.com/the-popperian-

I'm grateful to for having me back on the Popperian podcast to talk about what Popper really thought about tolerance, intolerance, and free speech. We also found time to talk about the current climate for free speech at NZ universities.

Another chat with Joseph Agassi, this time about argument, debate, criticism, and the rules of the game - with healthy doses of Popper and Wittgenstein along the way. It starts a little slow, but grows. It is amazing to think that Agassi is 95 years old!

Rafe Champion has been keeping the scholarship of critical rationalism alive for decades, and is a hub of knowledge on all things Karl Popper. A joy to talk with him about the social theme within Popper’s work and how this creates objectivity in science

Really good podcast episode between and on the Charles Armstrong plagiarism affair. Not mentioned in the podcast is this allegation of “sexual misconduct” by CA with a Columbia undergrad (CA is just overall a terrible person): ademic-sexual-misconduct-database.org/incident/8768
