evidence that where customary gov was strongest, so was support for state, critique of top down driven attempts at introducing state in sub-district level and where service delivery can and can't be led by customary governance structures. Highly recommended.
Loved that you changed your mind on things. I feel exactly the same about my own research process. I really wish it was more acceptable to admit this in our writing& in the discipline. New information & evidence *should* lead us to changing views! That’s the sign of an open mind!
