Combating PFAS contamination is an important priority here in NH and in communities across the country. No one should be forced to question the safety of their drinking water or be exposed to potentially harmful chemicals like these while doing their jobs.
I have led efforts in Congress to uncover the potential health impacts of PFAS in our water supply by authoring and securing funding for the first-ever national health study on this issue -- which I’m pleased to report is now underway.
