what's scihub for the humanities
-
despite the name you can find some humanities and social science articles on sci-hub though I imagine hit rates will be lower for humanities than for science

z library is also a very very shady website that no student should ever use, one must always spend 50+€ on textbooks
-
50€? Damn. My textbooks cost upwards of $250 each...in 2001.

Definitely not writing these down. Anyone else have similar resources to share so I can make sure to never access them??

-
Yes there is a very shady browser plugin that you can use to access papers called the open access button. It even has an incredibly simple but highly insidious interface that allows you to request the publication directly from the author of it isn't available already.

It would also be very, very bad to reach directly out to the authors who can share their work with you directly and also often want to know what’s being done with their work so they’ll talk to you about what you’re doing.
-
I have done this and it was so great! Also sent them some money in appreciation of their work.
