And if all other avenues have been exhausted, and circumcision is all that's left, then it's a medical procedure.

A female's life would have to be in grave danger before a doctor would recommend cutting her genitals for any reason. The same should apply for boys.
-
Nope, it’s always banned. No situation where it’s medically necessary or provides any benefits. That’s why we don’t apply the same standard, not because the government hates men.
-
The government protects girls' genitals, but not boys'. Is it at all fucking possible that there are better ways of treating fucking UTIs and fungals infections (both of which women are more prone to) than lopping body parts off? Maybe?

It’s nice to see that we agree. I spent the first few tweets with Gregory working out his stance on circumcision. He wants a blanket ban on it, “the same standard they use on girls”. I can’t find a single situation in which FGM has been allowed, even exceptionally.

Therapeutic cutting of female genitalia occurs (e.g. labiaplasty)--there are many peer-reviewed published articles about it, so you must not have looked very hard. Asking for equal protection for everyone should bit be controversial. Not sure what your hang up is.

If circumcision was the solution to the issues he's proposing it is, we would see adult men choosing to get cut to stop all the infections they'd constantly get, and we don't see that. We see almost all intact men perfectly fine with their dicks.
-
Frankly, I'd do an awful lot to resolve recurring infections before I'd approve this being done to my sons - diet changes, antibiotics/antifungals, better hygiene, probiotics. And even then, I'd be extremely reluctant to do it before they were adults.
