Being raised Catholic I know a thing or two about Divine Agonies but in spite of the weeping and wailing in the next room I donโ€™t think there was a Station of the Cross where Jesus was made to share the iPad with his brother

And if anyone wants to pedant at me that coffee isn't hydrating, it's infinitely more hydrating than drinking nothing which is what I would do otherwise, so step off ๐Ÿ˜‚

Kids demanding more juice and soda. "You've had a lot why don't we switch to water for a bit." "Ok, then I'm going to get you a big glass of water to drink too if it's so good, mom." My own petard. Hoisted. How could I do this to me ๐Ÿ˜ญ

So, yanno how landlords suck? Sometimes you get lucky because someone genuinely doesn't care about profitability so much as sustainability, and actually gives a shit about whether they can provide safe, stable housing for people who might otherwise be completely fucked.

But for the sake of #selfpromosaturday - Shop Hot, Shop Jaydot! Every penny spent on my dice and dice accessories goes to building low-income housing!

Which is true! And has been happening! I've just been not talking about it because I'm more interested in doing the work than promoting the work XD Anyway, gonna do some inventory and post fresh pics and a new pinned tweet about all this probs later today. 4/

But all my other options would engender so much more work. I already do two jobs... And then it hit me. I can just start pointing out that every penny a person spends in my shop goes straight to helping build low-income housing. 3/

Nearly all the major construction is done, we've sold a few of the poorer-state properties to help with funding, but we just need extra cash for bits and bobbles like stoves, fridges, etc. 2/

Been trying to think of ways to fundraise for the low-income housing project I've been working on for the past year. We hit the cap on our loan and need just a little extra push to get us through to the end. 1/

Many people have asked about helping 's family, especially her sweet wife, Hanna (). This GoFundMe has been set up to do just that. Please don't feel obligated to contribute, but kindly share! Remembering Anna Clutterbuck-Cook

I'll take this a step further. I know REMARKABLY less about the games I run than my players. We absolutely open up books at the table, pause to Google rules, have mini discussions about interpretation, and also shrug off the official rules to just do what we wanted.

Just saw someone mentioning how you have to learn everything about a system to GM it. You don't need to know everything. You've able to learn as you go---you need to know more than the players but there's no reason to have to be perfect on the rules to start running it.

Getting out of Costco for under $400 feels like I should take a victory lap But not around Costco I don't wanna ruin my record ๐Ÿ˜‚

Tho honestly I would take the $10mil just because it'd get me where I want to be faster. I don't know what I would get out of living my life over. Just different unforseen fuckery probably.

Finally caved and called an electrician for a particular unit where all the outlets stopped working. Terrified it's going to be a whole re-wire job and cost $$$ we don't have but the place is like ready to rent otherwise so I gotta pull the trigger on that service call ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Anyway ventured into the basement, abandoned stack does have access, so after I talk to the code enforcement tomorrow I'll schedule my plumber to try snaking the drain from here.

Honestly my first impression was "hey with some vacuuming and fresh drywall this could be all right" Then I looked in the bathroom. Hard nope.

Note of caution: I discussed the situation with the borough, they know what we are up to, and tomorrow I talk to the code inspector to get official permission. But first I wanted to determine if it was worth all that or if we needed to just dig up our basement.

Manfried, you may recall, is a whole paladin, so he sat this one out because it's a gray area and that's too much color for him ๐Ÿ˜‚ But it's hella abandoned so he did acquiesce to pics because quote "you know I love haunted shit"
