I just simply would like to see how many post is reaching. Like it doesn’t even need to be a public view count. If I have an important update but don’t want to make it a video it’s nice to know how many it’s reaching bruh

I think the likes to an extent, the comments, and even number of votes on a poll are more telling since those indicate actual interaction. Views just tell you how many see it or scroll past it, not really valuable information tbh

Its better having it than not having it? I think it’s silly that you’re against it lol

Well how would people use it to grow? I just see it as another metric that can potentially discourage smaller creators when the number is lower than usual

People subscribe to you to see your videos/streams, not to read your community posts. The numbers for that quite frankly shouldn’t matter to you at all except comments/poll votes. YouTube isn’t Twitter.

Your argument is shifting and your changing-the goal post lol. I simply would like to see numbers. showing numbers isn’t going to hurt anything but give me more information. Your argument is silly

You want to see numbers? Look at more relevant ones such as Click-thru rate, VIDEO impressions, audience retention, etc. Those will tell you far more accurately what type of interaction you’re getting. My ‘silly’ point is your focus shouldn’t even be on the community tab to grow.

It was never about “using the tab to solely grow my channel” lol

Well if that’s the case like @kingdomace21 said he saw someone who wasn’t even subscribed was reached through a COMMENT, which I said is more telling than how many people see your post... my point this whole time was that that metric isn’t valuable.. when did I change that??
