So #RedDeadRedemption2 is a lot of fun - cleaning dirt off my horse and picking berries in the woods are a good time for me. But that's definitely not everyone's jam and that's fine. If you like slow-paced immersive role-playing games, you'll probably like #RDR2

It's okay not to like something, even if every major review makes you think you should. I feel bad for people who bought this game on the advice of a 9/10 review expecting something completely different. From the outside, it looks like a typical action game, but it isn't. (2/5)

This is absolutely a role-playing game. You play the role of an old west outlaw. It's slow, quiet most of the time, and ponderous. It's paced more like a novel than a game, but these are details that are hard to see from the outside. (3/5)

Reviews paint a glowing portrait of this game - it's the next Breath of the Wild, the next Big Game You Should Like(tm). My advice, for anyone on the fence about
#RDR2
, skip the reviews. Ignore the scores. (4/5)1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread
Instead, go watch a livestream of the first hour. That'll tell you everything you need to know. #RDR2
is more trudging through the snow and smoking cigars by a campfire than it is gunfights and train heists. I think that's great, but it's not gonna be everyone's jam. (5/5)
