Because St Paul’s letters, Jesus and Acts (as well as the apocalypse) specify there is an episkopos or hierarchy: presbytery (priests) and bishops.

No the model of episkopos (greek Nt word) is based on the high priest - priest model of Leviticus. St Paul mentions the principle of the metropolitan too, and the bishops, priests and deacons. The entire NT post apostolic period has this model - apostolic succession

These people ("experts") have no clue about the nature of man. They're always looking for a way to rationalize why everyone doesn't fall in line w/ the "spirit of the age," and anyone who sees through the "enlightened" tolerant and collective will must be quarantined.
