It's ironic how people in this part of the world tag the ones who don't believe in superstitions and dogma as naive. By all indications (whether socially, politically, economically, or by standard of living), isn't it obvious the opposite is the case? If you look around you,...

China: Total control and visibility by an ideology (nationalism, insularity, cultural uniformity, education) demanding cult-like devotion. Wanna or debate on any?

IDEOLOGY TODAY The West: Ideologically fascinating societies, but frustratingly arrogant and close-minded ideologies. Sub-Saharan Africa: Ideologically dead, anywhere-belle-face, elections over governance, nothing new to learn, sociopolitical insight and nuance utterly useless.

What do you call the feeling that is produced by a mixture of the feelings: trepidation, regret, and an infatuation with mortality?

Everyone talks about "keepin' it real", being authentic, and staying true to what matters. The reality is that most people you meet are dependent on *something* to the point where total honest and sovereignty is an impossibility. This isn't good or bad. It just is what it is.

THREAD on the TENI/FEMINISM drama. The problem with feminism is that there will never be an official definition. This means people can manipulate it for their agendas, & claim they're right. When I say I'm for equal opportunities for the sexes but I'm not a feminist, people...

...have dark/questionable origins. If we start "canceling" all customs that have dark undertones or origins, we'll have nothing left. It's not so serious for some. Ultimately, I don't think symbolic social practices are a real enemy of equal opportunities. The real enemy is...

I’ve pondered this often in relation to my future children & it’s lead me to create a concept called “manufactured adversity”. For instance, training in the gym, playing a sport, mastering a skill etc. We should raise children up to deal with & overcome “low stakes” adversity.
