Dr Hotez, I look forward to reading your book. I agree that measles has increased globally for many reasons-antivax lobbying being one. My one small quarrel: the word "unopposed" Antivax ideas are opposed by 99% of doctors, every news medium, every official medical body (AAP+AMA)https://twitter.com/PeterHotez/status/1161231411082354688 …

But no one says there is "only one vaccine schedule optimal for every single child." It is trivially easy to find reasons why some kids should not get vaccinated. Given that this is true, it is crucial that herd immunity be used to protect those kids. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/should-not-vacc.html …

How many millions of dollars should we spend trying to find out if some vaccinations can be spaced further apart?

I would never vaccinate my baby at birth. For help B. Blood tests for mother .. so that puts me in stats as anti vaccine. But other schedules doable. Maybe ..

Well, hopefully you didn’t have Hep B. Unfortunately the number of people who have it and don’t realize it isn’t zero. It could be if people would vaccinate their babies and halt transmission of this virus - it can be a lifelong issue for babies.

Just how exactly are you going to individualize a vaccine schedule for each newborn? Based on what science?
