You know, my old friend Hickie loves to talk trash. He, and you, seem to think I talk people out of getting the MMR. That’s not true. My lack of enthusiasm for that shot some years ago was based on its being a suboptimal way to get immunity to those 3 illnesses. Separate them.https://twitter.com/UrbaneDoc4Kids/status/1145396403994320896 …

We can. ADEM is a side effect of a potentially life-preserving prevention of measles. SSPE, which is 100% fatal, shows up after your pediatrician convinces you not to vaccinate for measles because it’s “benign.”

You proudly, on camera, state that most of your patients aren’t vaccinated for measles, mumps or rubella. Recall, I have receipts. https://youtu.be/cqOpZRc2imQ  If you were wrong, say so. You won’t, because that’s part of your brand: “I am better/smarter than the other docs.”

You know who else wanted to separate MMR with no scientific evidence for either, right? It was Andy Wakefield. You know him; you’ve been onstage with him, right?
