Homeopathy is pretty obscure and even illogical to me too, Vince. But it’s a form of care and treatment used by hundreds of millions of people. Rather than generating disdain, I think curiosity is in order.https://twitter.com/AboutPediatrics/status/1139631183397097478 …

Is making parents think that homeopathy is real medicine one of the health decisions doctors should be helping them make? #SB276 #medtwitter #tweetiatrician

Using rabid dog saliva as a homeo cure does not invite curiosity but revulsion. There is no defending nosodes made of old tumors rabid dog saliva old vaccines poisonus plants etc used on children shame on you for even defending homeo practise.

It’s only curious that more docs don’t come out against those pushing non-evidence based treatments, like homeopathy, as those seem to be the same folks writing fake medical exemptions.

Homeopathy used by fewer people than proponents state. Majority is OTC product use. Why do consumers buy a whole range of useless OTC products?

You’ve confused “hundreds of millions” with “hundreds of thousands”. That’s an awful big difference, “MD”. Curiosity isn’t in order if you understand the “science” behind homeopathy. Like, maybe check out the Korsikovian method and STFU if you really understand medical science?

The question is why do so many people buy in to a system with no objective health benefits. That’s the appropriate avenue for “curiosity”.
