I just read the remarks a #StudentsDemandAction leader will give tomorrow at #SCOTUS for the #GunLawsSaveLives rally.
I cried, so of course, my 4-year-old cousin asked me why I was crying.
And truthfully, I hope he never knows.
I hope he never knows that every day, 100 Americans are shot and killed in the United States, that firearms are the 2nd-leading cause of death among kids, and the U.S. gun homicide rate is 25 times that of other high-income countries.
I hope he isn't part of #GenerationLockdown but someone who wonders why nearly 6 million @MomsDemand, Mayors, Students, and other volunteers with @Everytown had to fight to protect our families from lax gun laws and loopholes.
Until he can wonder that, we'll #KeepGoing.
