Nooooooo... the models were specific: If 100% of the people lock themselves in their house.....up to 240,000 deaths. Turns out only 50% at best somewhat stayed home and deaths mayyyyyyyyyyy reach 50k. They were so wrong it is complete absurdity at this point....

Italy was data, and damn serious data which any sane person should have taken seriously (ditto Iran, and China when reading between the lines). That doesn’t change the accurate observation that the models were trash.

No the models weren’t trash. As I watched reports of models, there were qualifiers. Ex. Without testing, without distancing, without SAH orders. Change the qualifiers, the model changes. Lastly, until testing is comprehensive, we are totally in the dark.

It's the same form of denial about climate change. Experts warn if nothing is done, caring folks respond which change projections downward, deniers then claim experts were wrong in the first place. Deniers simply don't want to change *their* lifestyle to help the planet.

exactly. The states acted with stay at home orders and such that drastically changed the models.
