Funny how something that could depend upon us trusting in the consideration and compassion of strangers has wound up being a bad idea. Another hit for the human spirit.
Spoiler alert: coping with a pandemic is not supposed to be easy.
It's a pandemic not a holiday camp. It's supposed to be difficult, to be a challenge, to push us to our limits and ask us to do that which wouldn't normally be asked.
And we're failing miserably.

The thing is, generally it ISNT that difficult. If people followed the guidelines and actually wore masks, social distanced, washed their hands, stayed at home etc, then we wouldn't be in this mess now.
