The likelihood of a team succeeding increases when people who have worked as a team previously come together.
Further, it is important to have a team of people who have what it takes to build, i.e. passion towards the problem statement, execution skills, etc.

How do investors see pivoting?
➡️ Pivoting as a process could go about naturally, or a founder might figure out a white space or an adjacency that suits their skills and take it from there.

There is no right or wrong to this, and there is no guarantee that a pivot might succeed. A founder pivoting must be able to justify the pivot, and not pivot for the sake of it.
