Awesome video and great explanation.
The only thing I would like to point out is that it was a bit confusing when you showed the normal buffer demo, but didn't mention the depth buffer.
I paused the video and asked myself how it could generate depth from orientation alone.

I'm very curious how you were able to find the buffer layers you showcase in these videos. I'm researching the subject in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, both for educational purposes and for machinima.
