Paddie amendment was a anti-bullying amendment, not a bathroom bill. Applied to all children, provides for alternative facility. twitter.com/forrest4trees/

I will be voting against any amendment to #SB2078. Discrimination is not a Texas value. #TxLege twitter.com/aeolist/status

If telling yourself that helps you sleep at night. It's discrimination wearing sheep's clothing. You've lost my vote. #SB2078

That's complete bullshit, sir. Paddie amendment was even characterized from the floor as "the compromise amendment." Own it, dude 👉🏼 #YouLIE

He clearly said it required children to use the bathroom of their biological sex or to use use restroom. That's a bathroom bill.
It does not mandate that. It only mandates a private option for those who request it. As a conservative, I see through this phony bill
It is intentionally ambiguous, but it doesn't forbid the students. A bill that makes neither side happy.
