    I hope someone opens a class action lawsuit against the TX government and these power companies. It is insulting and dangerous that the Dallas skyline stayed lit along with these wealthy neighborhoods like Highland Park while the rest of us have been freezing for almost 24hrs.

    Thankful we had a place to go, but many others didn’t in my neighborhood. Power on for 1.5 hours in the last 29, pool a wreck, pray those who need essential care got it. Would love to know what the reasoning is because these aren’t rolling blackouts.

    i can’t believe how refreshing both of those speeches have been. i’ve gotten so depressingly used to nonsense, hateful rambling for four years. i did not realize how good it would feel to hear actual eloquent words and the beginning of hope that things might get better

    So you will cut Cali off from federal help even if the fire is started by a thunderstorm? Maybe they should stop paying the government taxes if you threaten to cut help off when they can't fix fires in mountains just like that. I am from Cali & I would stop paying you if cutting.
