It's a real shame how hard it is to colourise b&w nicely as it's be such a nice method!

It reminds me a little of the graphic novel Beautiful Darkness. A collection of tiny characters/sprites emerge from a child that who has died in the woods. It's very grim, obviously!

Its fun when a character is drawn completely 'above' the panels, kind of like they're imposing themselves on the sequence :)
